Welcome to my homepage. I primarily communicate about mathematics and its relationship to other aspects of society. That includes classroom teaching, online tutoring, and supervision at math camps, and it also takes the form of writing essays, software, and making animations and videos.
In the past, I’ve been a research mathematician, a software engineer, and a research scientist in industry quantum computing. I’ve also been involved in grassroots activism and community organizing. In between all this, I’ve had the privilege to spend time in India reconnecting with my ancestral roots.
I’m currently based on the unceded territories of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), and səlilwətaɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations, in so-called Vancouver, BC.
